Weigh In No.6, Clean Eating Challenge....

I feel so ashamed that I gained another pound this week. It's my fault. I ate too much junk and even with exercise, diet still accounts for 80%. Dammit! Why did I eat that pie? Was the Chinese takeout really necessary? I won't beat myself up about this. It's a new week and I just got back from my walk/jog. I plan on challenging myself to a clean eating week. And to make it even more interesting, I'm going to give myself a reward for each day that I am able to eat clean. Will give you the details on that later. So this week's rules are as follows:

  • No diet soda
  • No processed juice
  • No pastries, pies, white bread
  • No fried plantain chips
These are my major vices. If I can conquer these I can do anything! Wish me luck folks..... I need it!

  2. I love fried plantain bananas, too... but I don't want to cook it because whenever I do, I couldn't resist putting some butter and granulated sugar on it.

    Don't be too hard on yourself, Enyonam... I know you can always bounce back.

  4. I find using healthy alternatives to junk helps. Toms up if you can come up with a really innovative recipe. Keep it up dear you are doing great. Oh, toast the brown bread it is really great. Great going if you prepare some salsa and hummus with our local beans. Ready, healthy to go snacks everytime.
